How to Become a Web Developer

Now the question raises How to become a Web Developer?

Today there is a huge demand of Software & web Developers in World. But as My heading show I’ll just discuss about Web Development.

So friends before starting first I should assure that you know about what is Web Development and its types. As its name show web development is all about developing/creating websites for internet. It has two types
  • Front-End-Development (HTML/CSS/JavaScript)
  • Back-End-Development (PHP/Python/MySQL etc.)
I’ll just give you a quick view here that in Front-End-Development a developer builds the structure of website using HTML then stylize the structure with the help of CSS and JavaScript while in Back-End-development developer  and APIs used by front-end developers it enhance its performance take an example of login procedure in a website.

Now you should have to acquire knowledge of those languages which used in a development of a website.

First you should move for Front-End-Development in which you will learn HTML (Hyper Text Markup Language) which is used to create the structure of a site then you’ll move for CSS (Cascading Style Sheet) it’ll style the structure and make it better for to view then here comes the JavaScript which will give your site some functionalities like popup of section, some button actions and lot more.

To acquire this knowledge you should follow some rules:-

     o   Create plans to learn.
Create a Plan Schedule to work, to learn and read about related subject.

     o    “Practice practice & practice”
Some people say it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert. Now, you don’t need 10,000 hours of practice to get your first software developer job. But you do need to dedicate some serious time.

o   Develop Ability to use inspector tools in browser.
Let them know you know what is going on there(in site).

     o   Create responsive sites.
Your sites should also work on Tablets and on Mobiles.  Make them responsive.

     o   Create your portfolio.
Nick Larsen, a data engineer at Stack Overflow said.
"A portfolio of projects and products you have made credible contributions to is worth more than years of experience or schooling."

     o   Never Stop Learning
Remember in all of this never stop to improving your skills
Mark Wilcox, vice president of business development at ICSynergy said.
"I don't care as much if they are an expert in a specific language because any competent programmer can learn a new language in a week. But if they don't have good problem-solving skills and are not constantly trying to improve, then they will end up hurting your project."

In next blog I’ll write about Back-End-Development.
